Recite the oath

Oath I - The Oath of Exile - scripture bestowed upon JuJu

The oath recited, and twice received,

the fountains rain beneath the seas,

and on the storm that must not stop,

drops of pain have not forgot.

Blood and sinew stretched and bound,

bang the drums strong and loud,

and when the widow comes to rest,

carry her swiftly into the nest.

She drinks and chants the words alone,

speaking softly to her stone,

and when the stone runs dry and hollow,

your life she’ll own forever morrow.

You’ll sing her song with faded breath,

and to her soul you will confess,

the OATH OF EXILE has been sung,

your days grow cold, one by one.

You cannot stop you cannot leave,

the trees and rocks beneath your knees,

chant for me, chant for me, chant for me, please.

Death comes swift and will be clean,

and with one last whispered call,

you hear her thoughts, you hear them all.

Her lips close and speak to thee,

the echoed sounds you wish to see,

and as the light will leave your face,

reborn you’ll be, into this place.

The oath recited, and twice received,

apart of she you will be,

recite the oath to stay up here,

recite the oath and you’ll be clear,

recite the oath from down below,

and now, you hear, the killing blow.
